  • Direct I/O, version 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4

Texas Instruments and White Mountain sell emulator software and hardware for the TMS320C3x DSP. Unfortunately they have no software version for Windows NT.

To be able to run the 16bit emulator software under Windows NT you have to configure Direct I/O to allow I/O port access to the emulator hardware. The settings are:

Resource Setting
I/O ports:   [base+000h] - [base+01Fh]
[base+400h] - [base+41Fh]
[base+800h] - [base+81Fh]
[base+C00h] - [base+C1Fh]
Process NTVDM.EXE   (for Direct I/O version 4.0, 4.1)
<pathname to the executable>   (for Direct I/O version 4.2 and later)
